Tesla Light: Light Installation at Petrovaradin Fortress
Tesla’s Gallery of Light is an event within the program platform Docek 2022. Within the project European Capital of Culture – Novi Sad 2021, it is intended for the preservation of cultural heritage based on knowledge, creativity and innovation. The concept of the light gallery shows and pays tribute to Tesla’s character and work, whose work contributed to the discovery of neon light, radio and wireless transmission of electricity.
Thus, the exhibition of energy flash presents works of art in the form of lighting devices, installations and constructions inspired by the thoughts and works of a famous scientist, evoking the impression of the universe. The installations were premiered on New Year’s Eve 2022 in the area of Podgradje and Petrovaradin Fortress.
